Check you have all the necessary documentation for all passengers travelling in your party (including children and infants) - tickets, passports and visa.
Know your flight details - flight number, departure time, and the airport/terminal.
Know your baggage allowances and be aware of restricted items. Passengers may not use the unused allowances of others. Take care when packing for your trip and ensure that any sharp items such as scissors, cutlery or penknives are tucked safely away in your hold luggage.
Arrive in good time - know the check-in times for your flight. Standard opening of check-in for the most of flights is 2 hours prior to scheduled departure and closes strictly 40- 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
Carry the minimum of hand baggage - make sure you know your allowance. Each passenger (excluding infants) is permitted to carry one small piece of hand baggage on board. For the safety and convenience of all passengers, hand baggage must fit underneath the seat or in the overhead compartment.
Get to the boarding gate in good time - boarding starts for 30 minutes before departure.
Have your travel documents ready at the gate - your boarding pass and passport/photo-id.
Customers should be at the gate no later than 20 minutes before departure. Passengers who arrive at the boarding gate after this time will not be accepted for travel.
